History: Born in the west to a Soapmaker, Zanna learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Soapmaker.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gifted student she started as a Bookbinder, but she got bored and became a Apothecary. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born to a Scribe, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
