History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Norûk abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. During his travels, Norûk and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Norûk discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Norûk fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Hlin reached her early adolescence her Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Hlin was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
