History: Born in the south to a Unemployed, Thorpe learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Unemployed. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Jak abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Description: 6'10" and muscular, this southern man is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing brown cape and mantle trimmed with soft grey waves gently in the breeze. His fur is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Ethereal lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, she has a large red mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her violet robe. Her chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. Her gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Fletcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Verna and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and she has money and likes to spend it
