History: Veloptima was born the youngest of three triplets. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Baker they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Dilettante, and she later adopted a second son.

He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
