History: Qualen was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. Qualen liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Being a Dyer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: Sheggen lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.
