When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Tabaxi culture. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ronk was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting gnolls, the young Ronk began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Tabaxi people; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: She got into the Courier business at a young age. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Cloak was born with his mother's beautiful face. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Birel was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
