History: Umpen was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.

History: Born to a Bather, his father struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Bather.
