History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Heward was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He became a Fletcher soon after.

Description: This man stands a little under 6'2" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a brown vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His black leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his brown boots flare out at the collars. He is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around his ears. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Barber. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Dean was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she wears well tailored gowns and hats with beautiful decoration. She is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. Her hair is chestnut and curly. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She found a children's book about a Human Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 4'2" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears dull brown sweaters, loose violet pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed scythe, just in case. His black hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He is baby faced.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He usually wears his black robe and has his axe always slung over his shoulder. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He is bald on top and has large red tufts of hair around his ears. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to unite with his brother
