When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father.

History: Born in the east to a Knight, River learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
