Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Nikki isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He has done his best to style his green crest to look like a famous performer. This gold eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Gorbundus lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: She stands about 6'2" and wears an entirely black suit with grey socks and a vest with buckled shoes. Her left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. She has dyed her greying copper crest a little too much giving a sharp copper color. Her red eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Hillanot enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Hillanot was born the youngest of three triplets. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. She wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide her balding. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Oriff grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk.

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He is dressed in an above average manner. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He wears a top hat to cover his moderate length blonde hair. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Stylist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has achieved small success as a Stylist.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
