History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Syllin was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Sariel and her spouse have recently divorced.
