History: Born in the north to a Shepherd, Tree learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tabaxis became a terror of the countryside. He tends to his Shepherd job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has achieved small success as a Dyer.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is an amazing painter.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Frug alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was granted psionic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he wants revenge against dire rats

History: Syllin was born the youngest of three triplets. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
