History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Interpreter work with an outfit from a few towns over. Interpreter work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
