Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. Baern enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Being a Banker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.
