Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. The war was a terrible time for him, and River does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shepherd they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Ploughman, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Tanner responsibilities is difficult; and to be a painter again

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a white suit, green shirt, and brown tie. His long silver hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A freak accident while working with his Farmer mother left him crippled. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is content.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Suhnae was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep violet leather and dull brown iron scale mail. He has brown hair. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Body Guard. He has worked as a Body Guard like his father before him.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and wants to open a new tavern
