History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She married young, but lost her spouse to dire rats. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Mardred was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Pelt fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she has decided she is irredeemable
