History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Through the years after Keyleth was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Keyleth's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Gifted from a young age, Oriel studied abroad. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Engraver work with an outfit from a few towns over.
