Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He is dressed in an above average manner. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Ulblyn is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Ulblyn grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Ulblyn. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: He is typically in his Dyer uniform. His head has been shaved. He has brown eyes.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Dean hails from a village terrorized by drow. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Dyer responsibilities is difficult.

Description: He is a pot bellied western man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears baggy black pantaloons and a green scarf. His silver hair is knotted and matted. His amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and wants to work out more often

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. She is wearing a long, brown cloak. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Her red fur is unkempt and raggedy. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Born in the north to a Ploughman, Great learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Ploughman. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Ploughman for hire.

Motivation: Expand her business; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around her neck, and a lance on her belt, and is pretty ugly. Her chestnut hair is long and unkept. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Mason. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends.
