History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. The war was a terrible time for him, and Wrenn does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the east were limited. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Ida was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ida's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
