Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a grey vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His white leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his grey boots flare out at the collars. He sports a long auburn beard, and similarly colored long hair. His ears are large.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She got into the Healer business at a young age. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has achieved small success as a Healer.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and balancing her hectic life and new healer responsibilities is difficult

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

History: Nim was born the youngest of three triplets. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Nim alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
