History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Orsik grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Orsik. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Unemployed work with an outfit from a few towns over. Unemployed work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. A gifted student she started as a Cartwright, but she got bored and became a Carpenter. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
