Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Cumpen reached her early adolescence her Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born in the west to a Scribe, Maiathah learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now owns her own business.
