He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Lavinia was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Gardener. She's also a talented Ploughman, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
