Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Spice Merchant born in the past three hundred years. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She was born at the edge of vast mountains. She worked as a nervous Ruler and found it very stressful. In the meantime she has taken over work as a Ruler and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: He wears black painted combat armor at almost all times. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His chestnut hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Olgoth is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: This malnourished man wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His brass crest is drawn into a tight pony tail with a butterfly scrunchie. His gold eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nykkan fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He's in love; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman has a large grey mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her white robe. She has styled her auburn hair well, parting it to the right. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. She also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nora grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nora. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Stableman for hire.
