Description: She wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Merla embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Merla was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the north. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: 5'9" and muscular, this southern man has a large brown mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his tan robe. His brown fur is heavily combed to the left. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady blue eyes.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Description: She has a missing left leg. She wears a fine chain shirt which she covers with grey colored cloaks and clothing. Her brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Ilde and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now mingles about in high society.
