History: Adam lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Kite alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and he wants revenge against brigands

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Her first spouse was a Sage, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
