History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Veit was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Lamlis reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Dilettante and was forced into it by his family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: Orianna is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Orianna grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Orianna. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and a rival would like her out of the picture

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Her first spouse was a Sellsword, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Barber they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Fisher, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and her religion dominates her actions
