History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Varis was born the youngest of three triplets. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Navigator for the past few years.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His black hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and doesn't want to be a bounty hunter and was forced into it by his family

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Maiathah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Maiathah and her spouse have recently divorced.
