Description: He is scrawny and has patchy black stubble. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has a hunchback. He has a black handlebar mustache and slicked back black hair. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his small grey hat.
Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. A true patriot, Thorin would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When Thorin reached his early adolescence his Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a brown costume with the symbols of strength on his torso. His fur, while still mostly yellow, has prominent grey streaks. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: Five is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he would like to get married and retire

Description: A 5'2" western woman, she does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She has slicked back auburn hair. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is a great chef.
History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Joan took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up glaive and armor she uses now. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.
Motivation: She has a crush on the local Stableman.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: This eastern woman is abnormally tall. She typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep grey leather and dull tan iron scale mail. Her whole body is exceptionally muscular. Her hair is short and chestnut. Her skin is flawless and her blue eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.
History: Oriff was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the east were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.
