History: He comes from a rich western family. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
