Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Sarai embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Sarai was born with her mother's beautiful face. At some point she was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. After a long history of fighting, Sarai and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

Description: She stands about 4'8" and wears a tan vest and prefers red and violet shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. Her left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. She wears a small hat to cover her moderate length silver hair. Her eyes are amber and beady.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Tiaathque enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Tiaathque reached her early adolescence her Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she has a crush on the local gardener

Description: He is an average looking southern male in his early mid-life. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized yellow coat. His hair is long and golden with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small yellow clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His skin is flawless and his gray eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Miles lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Server, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son.

Description: She is an average looking eastern female in her early mid-life. She wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. Her brown hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. A friendly and beautiful Tiefling, she is rarely seen without a few beauties around her arms. Though a playboy in all rights, she is no lame duck.

History: She was born into a rich family. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Vapula alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vapula fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Gifted from a young age, Rangrim studied abroad. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rangrim fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
