History: Tordrid lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Tordrid was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Tordrid's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Orryn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Orryn and his spouse have recently divorced.
