He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Engraver. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Engraver. He tends to his Engraver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Lia took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up dagger and armor she uses now. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and further expansion of business

History: She got into the Fisher business at a young age. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She struck the Fisher job and began her own company from there.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Trail never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
