Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Pirithin embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Pirithin grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting illithids, the young Pirithin began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and balancing his hectic life and new sculptor responsibilities is difficult

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Edge abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Helja has worked very hard to control her curse. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she loathes her own lifestyle
