Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Hork was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Spice Merchant but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he is wearing a long, tan cloak. He sports a flattop hair cut. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Healer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Healer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Mercenary, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he wants to get laid

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Ruler born in the past three hundred years. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was born into a rich family. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Ruler. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Ruler for the past few years.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and expand her business
