History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, he wears brown trousers with green and black striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Shepherd business.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered giants who tried to eat his hand. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Gifted from a young age, Fragrant studied abroad. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.

History: She got into the Layabout business at a young age. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: Uraim is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
