Description: 4'10" and muscular, this western man wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it. His red hair is knotted and matted. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep brown.

Personality: He is a Scribe first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Varis is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His white hair is thinning but still full. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Butcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Pelaios fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. With a patchy black beard and wild black hair. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Shipwright arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: Emerald wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Aristocrat, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Blacksmith and was forced into it by her family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
