History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against gnolls

Personality: She is a Adventurer first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. A friendly and beautiful Tabaxi, she is rarely seen without a few beauties around her arms. Though a playboy in all rights, she is no lame duck.

History: She was born into a rich family. Dagger was born on a far southern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Adventurer. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Burgell is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He's also a talented Doctor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tieflings.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is greedy; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
