Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Surina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Through the years after Surina was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Surina's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Verna lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
