History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Peren was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Peren's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bryseis grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her childhood dream was to be a Marshal, but she was a colossal failure. She has achieved small success as a Miller.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Donella grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Donella. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
