History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. After coming to the age of reason, Rose took it upon herself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Namfoodle's homeland. Namfoodle decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Namfoodle fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
