Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she has the majority of her body covered in plate. Her black hair is well kept. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Philomena was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Elven companion (her 'brother'). She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

Description: 4'10" and muscular, this eastern man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His moppish blonde hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes are likewise brown.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Ahvain hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting orcs, the young Ahvain began to lead the lost caravan. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Many orcs want him driven away; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: This western woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She is well dressed, but even with her fine clothing she looks run-down. She wears a Stetson hat to cover her moderate length bronze crest. She has gold eyes and a black hat with a blue feather.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mishann fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
