History: She was raised in a island tribe. Barbena liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying east to reunite her family. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and a deep hatred of goblins

Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Volen was born the youngest of three triplets. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
