Bardryn decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and balancing his hectic life and new painter responsibilities is difficult

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. She tends to her Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
