History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Sumnes was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Maegan took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Fisher for the past few years.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lerissa grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and meet up once more with her childhood friend
