History: Callie was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and someone believes him a fraud

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Engraver and was forced into it by his family; and to be a slave trader again
