Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Katherine was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Katherine's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
