History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: Rivaan hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.
