Description: She is a mite stocky and wears a grey cloak and cross-gartered violet stockings. She wears her silver hair up. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her green eyes.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Dwarves.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Fallthra was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He has styled his brown hair well, parting it to the right. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Description: He dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His black hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: She is a small woman, but exceptionally fit. She wears suspenders and grey workpants. Her shirt is brown, and she wears a heavy grey leather apron most of the time. She wears a colorful flower in her golden hair. Her eyes are likewise green. Her teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Oriff was born on a far northern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Tanner. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Stannor embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born into a rich family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.
