Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Miller but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Beast never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Tanner.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she is greedy
